Meet the team
Justin Lada (Founder, prospect writer, lead podcaster, etc.)
Justin Lada is a University of Akron alum, and proud former member of WZIP. He has been covering the Cleveland baseball team’s farm system since 2007 for various outlets along the way - (The Lake County Sentinel, Burning River Baseball, Guardians Baseball Insider, The News-Herald/Morning Journal, Prospects Live). Born just in time to see Cleveland’s baseball rebirth in the 90s, Justin has been an avid baseball addict ever since and went to college with the dream of covering baseball full-time as a career. With the changes to the industry, he now covers the Guardians farm system in a freelance role and a labor of love, managing Next Year in Cleveland, providing prospect evaluations at Prospects Live, writing columns at the News-Herald and the Morning Journal, as well as hosting the Guardians of the Future podcast, and co-hosting Locked On Guardians. Though he is an Akron alumnus, Justin is also a life long Ohio State Buckeyes football fan and will emotionally post on social media about Buckeyes football in between posts about Guardians prospects and baseball.
