I really don't understand the optimism you have for the Guardians this season. There was virtually no improvement to the roster in the offseason. The Bally's fiasco may have been partly responsible, but we are left with a roster that is largely untested and unproven. This is a rebuilding year any way you look at it.
I am optimistic for the future when DeLauter, Manzardo, Ralphy, and Charlie Condon get here.
On the other hand, I do enjoy the blog, and am a regular viewer of the podcast.
Bad division, top 10 pitching staff, full season of Bo Naylor, should have better offense at SS and CF than a year ago. The wont blow 32 saves again this year. If you halve that number of blown saves a year ago to 16, they win 92 games. There will be some regression. Potentially add Manzardo and DeLauter at some point this year, I think 85-86 wins is possible. That could be enough to squeak in. Thanks for reading and listening!
