Dayan Frias (backup 3B): 0-0, 1 BB - Frias has bookended his Spring with a pair of major league game appearances, drawing a walk in each (the early one coming on February 28 at the Mariners in Peoria).
Joe Naranjo (backup 1B): 0-0, 1 BB, 1 SB - Naranjo’s walk was his first on a big league spring game.
Joe Lampe (backup CF): 0-1, 1 BB - Lampe has had multiple plate appearances in all five games so far in his rookie season of MLB spring ball.
Franco Aleman (RP): H (1), 1 IP, 2 BB, 1 K - Another prospect whose only other major league work came in the February 28 split-squad, in his case against the Kansas City Royals in Goodyear, Aleman improved upon his 2023 debut by not allowing a run.
Bradley Hanner (RP): H (1), 2 IP<, 2 H, 3 K - Hanner continued the solid relief with a pair of shutout frames that represented a significant rebound from allowing a pair of runs while only getting one Red out on St. Patrick’s Day.
Alaska Abney (RP): S (1), 2 H, 1 R (earned), 1 BB, 1 K - It wasn’t pretty, It wasn’t for the faint of heart. What it was, however, was good enough to pick up the save and close out the major league portion of this year;s proceedings in Goodyear on a winning note.
