Cam Waity was an All-American as the Wildcats’ Sunday starter. He is a young senior with experience in the Cape Cod Baseball League as a reliever. The righty started his career at Nevada Reno before transferring to Arizona. Walty is a versatile pitcher with experience as both a starter and reliever. He displays a shorter 6’0 stocky, but athletic frame at 216 pounds. Walty utilizes a short arm path and three-quarters delivery. On the mound, he exhibits an upper-80s to low-90s fastball. He rounds out his three-pitch repertoire with a 76-79 mph knuckle curveball and a low 80s change-up. Walty showcases plus command with the ability to frequently throw strikes. His ceiling is limited as a depth starter and has the potential to work out of the bullpen.
