Analysis:

The Florida native is an athletic former two-way athlete. He's relatively new to pitching (only 2 years) but displays a projectable frame and numerous pitches. On the mound, he has a quick arm with a varying low- ¾ slot. He has two variations of his fastball (4-seam and 2-seam from a lower slot) that now sits 92-94 and touches 96 mph. Zinn features a high spin slider (from a lower slot) and curve (both varying 2,900-3,100+ rpm range). He rounds out the four-pitch blend with an upper 70's splitter. As noted above, Zinn is relatively new to pitching, he will require time, patience, and professional routine development. As he matures and fills out his frame it would not be surprising to see him add a tick or two more of velocity.
